We Have a Heart !!!
We received the call this morning at 5:00am that a heart became available for Alicia. It is now 12:00noon the heart has arrived and the operation has began. We ask that out of the Goodnes of your heart you say a little prayer for Alicia. Please pray that the operation will go as planned and that her little body accepts this new heart. Just a quick FYI, the heart is the same blood type as Alicias own heart :) I will write a quick update this evening from home. The operation is estimated to last till 8pm.

I'm so glad a heart was found. Once I heard the news I felt as if a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. I hope everything goes well and I will always keep all of you in my prayers. God Bless.

CONGRADULATIONS! I'm so happy that little Alicia has finally got a heart. We will keep you in our prayers as the operation will be long and very stressfull. Our prayers also go out to the child who has lost his/her life and the family for their grief. I know that little Alicia is a fighter and will do great after the operation. It may be a long recovery but it will be worth every moment. Kathy and Mirek stay strong the struggle is almost over! With lots of Love
